Accounting 101 is a free educational app designed to help college students learn foundational accounting concepts. It operates as a static web application and native mobile app (Android & iOS) powered by Capacitor.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal data whatsoever. The app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use it.

The only data stored is:

Theme preference (light or dark mode) — stored locally in your browser's localStorage on your own device.

This preference never leaves your device and is not transmitted anywhere.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with anyone — not with third-party analytics services, advertising networks, data brokers, or any other party. There is nothing to share because nothing is collected.

4. Cookies & Tracking

This app does not use cookies, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any other tracking technology. There are no third-party scripts, no ad networks, and no analytics SDKs embedded in the app.

5. Network Requests

All app content — lessons, quizzes, interactive exercises — is bundled locally. The app makes no network requests to external servers during normal use. Once installed or loaded, it can function fully offline.
